Employment Walls

I am one of 2 million people who are looking for work. All of us want to work, but I'm discovering new things about the job market all the time. We have found ourselves in a Sellers Market! The seller can pick a chose what deal they want for the business. We being the buyer are faced where the jobs offered by sellers are made to appear to be few & far between. The seller wants someone who can do the job of two people for a quarter of the income. If the skills or the wording isn't perfect on the resume or application, the buyer is in the recycling like yesterdays news paper! Walking into a business with resume in hand putting your face in front of who ever you see first, sadly no longer has weight. It is shocking to hear how often I'm directed to apply online for the job available. Even in the smallest business! It doesn't matter if you have the qualifications or not; they do not want to see you in the business. The sellers market is most apparent in the temp agencies, some are so cruel they don't call you if you don't have to show up for work after you where told you would go to work on that assignment. Some are so cruel, where they treat everyone like they're rats in the salad bar no matter how hard their working to clean up the left overs. Another problem is very possibly quietly hidden if anyone is dealing with bad credit or workman's comp, or anything similar to such issues. Now, I know that employers are not allowed to use this information to keep us from being hired, but they are using it to bump the next guy into a position more favorable then us even if we do have the qualifications for the job. So, here is my question for everyone, how many of you who are looking for work have a flag such as these hiding in the shadows of your employment record keeping you from getting hired? Like you; I want to work, I want to stand on my own feet, I want to pay my bills off, I want to go back to work, I want to be a contributing person in this country, I don't want to sit at home feeling sorry for myself, I don't want to be apart of the county wide budget problems, I want to pay my own way. The jobs are out there, why aren't the sellers doing more to put more people who want to work back to work?
