Need to Vent

Just a vent session!!! One of the things I love most to do is buy Christmas presents or make presents for people I care about each year. If I'm poor, I'll make them. If I have the cash, I'll buy and make. This year, I made lots of magnets. It gives me a great pleasure to look, shop and really think through what I'm going to do for this person or that person. It is great fun! But over the years, I have noticed that I'm appearing on less shopping lists by others and it's gotten to the point if I have 3 presents to open, I was lucky! Truth be told, I'm heart broken! I will buy for a hand full of people; other wise, the Angel Tree will get most of my attention. Some may think I'm just buying to get them taken care of, that is so far from truth and I wouldn't waste my energy or money if I was going at from that approach. I put so much thought into each gift. I must add that I do get gifts that are unwrapped and I do know about and I'm grateful for those; these gifts come from those who will always stay on my shopping list. I'm sad and sad with regrets. I need new Rx glasses and instead of buying them, I put others first. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year Everyone!

Merry Christmas Everyone

Well, I just realized I haven't posted in a while and it's Christmas Eve. Like everyone in the country I'm heart broken of the loss of the babies in Newtown and my heart goes out to all the parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles feeling the hole this christmas. Know this, you will forever have a sweet angel tugging on your pants for the rest of your days... Again this Christmas, I will be working and crossing my fingers for snow the weather-person is predicting for us this year. Christmas isn't just perfect if there isn't fresh snow to wake too. If you're traveling today and this week, be safe, be smart, and don't drink. Hold your pets close, your friends close, your family close and be grateful for the awesome things you do have in your life. If you still have time to take care of your secret santa, put some thought into your gift for them even if you may not like this person very much. Don't just buy them a soap ball and call it good... Gift cards are lazy unless you know this person well. There is a very good chance that person you have went all out for their secret santa recipient. Your recipient may love to have something nice to open as well. Most of all, Have a Fabulous Tuesday!!! Cheers

Touching Base

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile. Life has been crazy on many levels. I'm still looking for a place to live; amazing the shitty housing situations for people who live off one pay check. The only descent rents are WAY out of my budget and it's not including utilities. Soooo sick of my stuff in 2 different storage units. I want to enjoy my things again, most have been packed in boxes for 31 months. Having a grand time with Christmas shopping this year, a benefit of renting a room. Over spent for my Angle Tree child and had a grand time doing it. Buy some gifts for a child on the Angle tree in your local food market. Those kid(s) will be thrilled to have something open this Christmas. You only need smart shopping to get as much as possible to $40.00 even if they say only spend $20.00. They only get Christmas once a year!
