Got to be Santa Today

My spring job allowed me to be Santa for a family of 5 today. This economy sucks so bad, it just breaks me heart. Telling this story will be hard to keep all information out of it for privacy reasons, so bear with me. how do I write this... I've been seeing families, single parents taking their chances with the dice at early loans; most getting approved, some not getting approved. A very special couple rolled 7's this morning and got enough money to buy presents for their kids and pay a couple of bills. When the loan amount reached mom's heart, tears rolled down her cheeks with relief. By the time they left and hearing the out loud thoughts of relief and being able to buy a few presents Today was so overwhelming, they had me in tears by the time they left. I'm so glad I was able to do something for them, true victims unknown in Washington DC in this shitty economy. They got a bit more, but $500 can change everything for the better in the simplest ways.
